(SOFAM) PHOTOCOM
SOFAM’s First Annual International Photo Competition
The University of Guelph’s School of Fine Art and Music (SOFAM) proudly presents its first annual international photo competition, showcasing the works of talented photographers from around the world. This festival provides a platform for photographers to display their art, express their perspectives, and share their unique stories with a broad audience.
We believe that photography is not just a means of capturing images, but a powerful medium for artistic expression and social commentary. SOFAM PHOTOCOM is looking for photographs that challenge the boundaries of traditional photography and push the limits of the medium. We challenge photographers to think critically about the role of photography in shaping our perceptions, its ability to capture moments, emotions, and narratives. The festival welcomes a wide range of photographic styles, including documentary, portrait, landscape, abstract, and cutting-edge digital manipulation.
SOFAM PHOTOCOM is an opportunity for emerging photographers to share their work with a wider audience and gain valuable exposure in the art world. What matters most is that your work is original, bold, and thought-provoking.
